Abstract:
Objective To explore the application value of Binzhi Runchang pill in rapid recovery after lung cancer surgery based on postoperative gastrointestinal function and exercise tolerance. Methods A total of 110 patients with lung cancer who were confirmed and underwent radical operation in the hospital were enrolled between May 2023 and May 2025. According to random number table method, they were divided into study group (n=54) and control group (n=56). After surgery, control group was treated with enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), while study group was treated with Binzhi Runchang pills on basis of control group for 3 d. Compare the operative time, intraoperative blood loss, time to first postoperative defecation, and postoperative hospital stay between the two groups. compare the serum albumin and prealbumin levels before and after surgery between the two groups; and compare the postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery and the maximum walking distance after surgery between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in operation time or intraoperative blood loss between the two groups (P >0.05). The postoperative first defecation time and length of hospital stay in study group were shorter than those in control group (P <0.05). At 3 d after surgery, levels of albumin and prealbumin were decreased in both groups, but were higher in study group than control group (P <0.05). The percentages of food intake at 1 d, 2 d and 3 d after surgery to that before surgery in study group were all higher than those in control group (P <0.05). At 3 d after surgery, the maximum walking distance in study group was longer than that in control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In ERAS after lung cancer surgery, the application of Binzhi Runchang pill can improve postoperative gastrointestinal function and exercise tolerance of patients.
