Abstract:
Objective To explore the significance of the changes of CD69 and NLR in peripheral blood of patients with colorectal cancer before operation. Methods We selected 126 patients with colorectal cancer (case group) admitted to our hospital, and 120 patients with colon polyps treated at the same time as the control group. The NLR and the CD69 expression by T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood were detected before operation, and the differences in the expression levels of CD69 and NLR of T lymphocytes in colorectal cancer patients with different clinicopathological characteristics were analyzed. Results The CD69 expression of T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of the case group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the NLR value of the case group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The CD69 expression of T lymphocytes in the blood of colorectal cancer patients with different tumor differentiation, different TNM stages, lymph node metastasis and tumor lymphatic vascular invasion were compared, which the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). When blood NLR values in patients with colorectal cancer were assessed in regard with different tumor differentiation levels, different TNM stages. Whether tumor lymphatic vascular invasion occurred, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of CD69 on T lymphocytes in peripheral blood of patients with colorectal cancer is decreased and the value of NLR is increased. It has a certain relationship with tumor progression.
